Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (First and Final Thought)

Posted by darkdragon500 on February 6, 2008

First Impression: Gurren Lagann is definitely one of those animes that has grasp a large enough fan-base (from what I can see), that it can’t be disregarded as a series. At first I did not get what the big deal was since it seemed pretty standard. Gainax working on it, hot-blooded mecha series, at least one main female character that grasp the viewers attention. This series pretty much gave JUST that, but yet somehow it contained almost a perfect balance of all series. Hot-Blooded Mecha, Females, Comedy, Fanservice, Protagonist that becomes amazing. This series did not fail to deliver both energy and great love for story and characters alike.

Final Impression: After finishing the whole series I could not help but feel sad. The series that was filled with so much epic. . .it was really hard to just have it end. The place where it ended was definitely a great place to end, but for some reason I wanted more. This series is definitely one that is a must watch to anyone. I’m positively sure that someone will like something about it. The series was a good 27 episodes long with an OVA that is archs episode 5 and 6? and also a remade/uncensored version of episode 6, which basically means it took out the flashback and extended the “fanservice”. It has a great balance of using fanservice when it needs to be used and yet keeping it in such a manner where its not interfering with the viewing experience. It doesn’t overload you with it, but also gives enough to satisfy one’s need. (course there are alternatives to those who want more. . . )

Overall, it is definitely worth watching. Its one of the view series I can say its a perfect 10 out of 10.

Rebuild of Evangelion: You Are Not Alone (Last 48 minutes cam, raw, low quality)

Posted by darkdragon500 on January 2, 2008

Alright so I’ve managed to somehow find the 2nd half of the first out of the four Rebuild of Eva movie….So….yeah….I’m just going to give you my opinion on how it is from what I saw instead of what I understand (if I even tried to understand…)

—–MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!! READ AT YOUR OWN CAUTION!!!———
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Okay, so lets begin. The video itself starts off in the flashback of Unit 00 Activation testing. Unit 00 goes berserk, entry plug is ejected, Gendou saves Rei….blah blah blah…..Okay seriously since I don’t have much to say story-wise lets get STRAIGHT to the angel fight shall we.

So we finally encounter Ramiel (the Angel thats a giant floating cube). Unit 01 is quickly sent out. Now if you’ve seen Evangelion you know what happens, but the change is (aside from the CGI usage) is that Ramiel can shape-shift. It made the scene itself look more awesome and seriously made Ramiel a much more harder Angel than just shooting it down with a positron rifle. Shinji is finally pulled back and recovers. The positron rifle is set and Shinji and Rei are ready to take down Ramiel. Rei is to act as a shield for Shinji by using the Shuttle Shield. Shinji will take down the angel using the rifle. They send out various missiles at the angel either to give light for Shinji to use (since the city has been powered down and drawn to power the rifle) or to judge the angel’s firing distance. Shinji manages to hit Ramiel with the first shot and pierce through it….it starts bleeding, but then regenerates and shifts and fires a shot at where Shinji and people are located. They are hit directly, but the rifle and Evas remained in one piece…for the most part. Shinji then grabs the rifle and goes for a second shot. Ramiel doesn’t wait and fires a 2nd shot. Rei blocks the shot and Shinji manages to fire the 2nd shot without the cost of heavy damage to Unit 00. Ramiel is killed and Shinji saves Rei in the same manner as Gendou.

This is an interesting take of the original scene. Shinji doesn’t rip open the back of Unit 00, but instead uses the Prog. Knife to pry it open and then he opens the still-hot entry plug just like Gendou did. Its also interesting that Shinji offered his hand to Rei giving a more “love” relationship between the two characters.

The end shows Kaworu on the moon talking to SEELE and what seems to be Lilith (but Lilith is in NERV and has a very different mask than the one seen in the actual series.). According to information online it states that Kaworu said that he can’t wait to see Shinji again, implying that Kaworu will not only make an early appearance, but also met Shinji way back when. Its a very very interesting take….

This ending makes me wonder if this is some kind of alternate universe. Not just a remake of the original, but a totally new universe, but with same/similar events. I guess we’ll just wait for the next movie. And remember guys…the next movie will have TONS of fanservice.

G Generation Spirits [First Impression]

Posted by darkdragon500 on December 14, 2007

I’ve been playing the latest game in the G Generation franchise titled Spirits. This game is the first (or so what I’ve heard) all-UC only game in the G Generation games. It goes from original Gundam all the way to Crossbone. I’d wish to see Gundam X series in it since it does deal with The One Year War (or ten years or so after it). I’ll break down what I think of the game after playing through it a bit.

Graphics: The game offers pretty great cutscenes along with the in-game battle animation. It is not as flashy as that of Super Robot Wars, but it is definitely up there. The scenery/battlefields are designed quite well and the sprites icon used are pretty good too. The menus look nice and just the overall game is designed well.

Sounds: The music is from their respected series, so nothing special there. Sound effects are the same as those used in the previous G Generation games, but it doesn’t get old. The one thing I really like is the classic sound FXs you’d hear in the series such as the Zaku eye turning on/lighting up and all.

Gameplay: The gameplay is quite simply to pick up in my opinion, but actually doing well is another. The game’s difficulty isn’t extremely hard nor is it easy. It will require some thinking on how you will organize your units and where to go, whereas SRW required the same idea, but not always if you had fully upgraded units. The upgrading system is slightly weird and you can always buy units that are not part of the series giving you a slightly/higher chance of winning the scenario. The “operator” menu is pretty easy to understand also even if you don’t understand Japanese. The game’s understandability is pretty easy and is probably a little more easier than SRW. The only parts that one may have trouble on are upgrading parts and attacks and all, but shouldn’t be too hard.

Overall: In the end this game is well worth the time to pick up and play. Highly recommended to those who like Gundam, like games such as Fire Emblem or SRW, or have a lot a free time on their hands.

Are Anime Series Starting to Lose Originality?

Posted by darkdragon500 on December 6, 2007

Okay for some reason or another I’ve been getting a sense that many series I’ve seen lacked originality. Now I’m not saying series borrow from each other, but more like…theres this lack of difference in either story, character or theme in general.

Now I won’t say I’m right and everyone else is wrong, I’m just giving my input on what I’ve seen, if you feel differently please feel free to say so.

Lets begin with a look more well-known series… Why not take Bleach and Naruto for example. Now being Shounen Jump-related I can tell this. Both share many similarities between each other, but lets look at series related to them outside of S.J. for a bit. Lets take Kiba for example (since I’ve just finished it). Now its not an exact parallel series, but it does share similarities.

Such examples being the protagonist is constantly looking to get stronger in order to protect those close to them. How about the protagonist going berserk and becomes insanely strong, but soon is able to control/fight that inner “demon” and break free? Thats just a small example.

Another one that I’ve noticed is in most H-games-to-Anime series…those slice of life series. Personally I love those kinds of series, but once again, originality is lacking. Lets take one my favorites, Da Capo, and compare it with something like . . . Kanon (which is also a fav’d series). Lets compare, we have the normal girl that is somehow really close to the protagonist male (child-hood friend, non-blood related sibling, etc). We have the female who is an animal of some sort (both Da Capo and Kanon had a female character that were a cat [correct on Kanon?]). We get another Child-Hood friend who has something done to them during the past (Kanon being Aya in coma and Da Capo’s Sakura being forever young). Now that doesn’t cover all the characters, but its about there. Although this is not completely true for ever series, there is some way or another where one can find a relation to a character from something else.

Lets take a look into the atmosphere/feel/theme of series now. Using Code Geass and Death Note (oh boy no one saw this I bet). Both of which are based around outsmarting the opponent. In this conflict we see the protagonist and antagonist both pushing back and forth and almost without a victor. Since Code Geass still has a second season coming up I can not say that the outcome of the series is similar to that of Death Note’s, but you can see a similarity.

Personally I just feel like I’ve seen too much of the same thing over and over again, and although thats not a bad thing, I’d wish to see some more originality. I must say though series such as Genshiken and Haruhi were quite original from my views, but there are probably more series out there that I’ve seen that are just as original, but I’ve failed to notice them.

“I’m here to deliver bad luck.” (Black Cat review) *SPOILER WARNING!!!*

Posted by darkdragon500 on November 26, 2007

Finally got around to watching Black Cat and boy I must say…it was GetBackers all over again. I won’t go into detail for those who don’t know how GetBackers went. If you need to you can refer back to my post on GetBackers here.

———————————-SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!————————–

The story follows a character Train Heartnet who is part of an organization called Cronos. Now Cronos has elites (or I call them elites) called Numbers. Each person has a number assigned to them and are used as “Erasers” to purge the world of evil. We also meet characters such as Sven Vollfied(sp?) who was an IBI Agent, but became a sweeper. Sweepers are basically Bounty Hunters. They search out for people, but never kills them. This causes conflict when Sven is told about a girl named Eve who is a bio-chemical weapon. Train on the other hand is told to kill her. And this is where we begin the story-telling.

The anime starts off with Train Heartnet in a fierce fight with Creed, but I’ll explain the reason later. After it cuts to the opening (fast forward a bit). We now follow Heartnet (who is also called Black Cat or XIII [13].) We get a glance of Train’s skill as a Number and also bits of his past. We then cut to Sven, who is in town to capture a tyrant leader (leader was part of the mafia and all that before…also turns out the guy has a last name Tyrant). We also are introduced to Sven’s strange power of the “Vision Eye”. In one of his eyes (that is covered by an eye patch at pretty much all times) can see 5 minutes into the future of anyone he looks at. He sees Tyrant and his death. Sven tries to save Tyrant in order to collect the money, but Black Cat swiftly makes his way into the building and kills him without leaving a trace. Sven catches to Black Cat only to then have them be stopped by a guard. (Fast Forwarding a bit). Later on we meet up with Saya who befriends Train. Train goes through a lot of thinking after Saya teaching him the way of sweepers not killing people when its not needed. Black Cat is given the mission of killing Eve, a bio-chemical weapon that is able to transform due to nano-technology. Sven is told to save her. This causes a mess and nothing is done to Eve. Later on we again see both Sven and Black Cat trying to reach Eve. In the end Eve is saved and Black Cat, although could of killed Eve, decides to let her live and by doing so also leaves Cronos.

Going further we see Creed and his idea of trying to take down Cronos. With the help of Taoists, Creed tries to obtain Train, but he refuses. Saya is later than killed for being a “witch” in making Train lose his “good” self that Creed likes. This causes Train to go berserk and almost killing himself. He’s saved by Sven and together they become a team of sweepers. (also Eve is with Sven).

Further up we see that Creed has been developing a group called “The Apostle of the Stars” and with a group of Tao-enhanced people, he tries to “persuade” Train to join. Train refuses and still holding a grudge against Creed tries his best to find his whereabouts. When the first confrontation with Creed ends, Creed infuses Nano-tech with Tao magic into his body. 2nd confrontation with Creed, Train had the ability to kill him, but as a sweeper he does not. Creed is returned to normal and we learn that Cronos sided with the Taoist (which goes against everything Cronos is). Only a few of the Numbers remain part of Cronos. Eve is kidnapped and sent to Eden where the whole story turns to trying to save Eve. The story ends with Eve being safe with Sven and Train is gone and roaming the lands. The end.

This was a quick run-down of what pretty much happened. I would make it more winded and long, but I got lazy. So yeah thats about it…there were more characters, but the story really revolved around Sven, Eve and Creed.

——————————SPOILER ENDS HERE!!!———————————–

So overall…the series wasn’t bad. The ending was quite disappointing and I felt much more could of been done. Regardless it was worth my time and it was quite enjoyable.

Not easy living as an “otaku” in the states.

Posted by darkdragon500 on November 18, 2007

Alright, so after running my school’s “Japanese Animation and Film Club” (otherwise known as Anime Club). I’ve started to realize a lot of things with people in the states who watch anime and my definition of an anime watcher (Casual watcher if you will).

Here’s what I’ve noticed. I showed Gekijouban: Shakugan no Shana, Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star. Here’s what happened. People disliked Shana and found that it had too much story development leading up to the action and got very confusing. Azumanga Daioh was dropped for unknown reasons. Lucky Star…people dislike it because it has no story (also due to the fact that the parodies are that of which might not be understood by many in the states).

Now I’ll admit that Shana was slightly winded when it came to the movie, but its understandable and its pretty good for what it is. Azumanga is also funny in the sense that its “random” and has plenty of humor that it doesn’t really need a story. As for Lucky Star I feel that, yes you do need some background on other shows to fully enjoy it, but at the same time I’m not one to say that I got EVERY parody that was thrown at me. In reference to Tea House Beloved I laughed at the “first layer” of jokes, but I also understood many of those other ones, such as Da Capo parody or even the Kanon parody. I even had a feeling of Nanoha when Konata found the Leavantin(sp?) Sword.

My main point is. Its a show that I find will be funny to the states, and yet…many people dislike it. Now this is just one instance. I’ve noticed that when I recommend a show that does not include the follow: Excessive FanService, Lots of Action, Lots of Blood, and a “Straight Forward” story.

If I were to show something like…oh I don’t know…the ever so classic Gundam series, people will most likely like it, but if I were to show something like ToHeart or Da Capo, many will be turned off by it and leave. With that many call themselves a casual anime watcher, and yet they do not indulge themselves to anything else other than those few selected series. Now I understand personal preference and all plays a big part in show selection, but as a huge fan I can not allow it to go un-noticed…especially when those people don’t even bother to finish the show to even get a good judgement of it. Here is my description of different levels of “anime watching”

The “Cartoon Network/Adult Swim” watcher: These are the people that have little to no knowledge of anime outside their little box. Most of the time they don’t even know the word “anime”. They follow the most known series showing.

The Casual Watcher: Most of the time these people are split between those who watch from various TV Channels or buy DVDs or those who watch online or a mix of the two. Usually these people have a pretty basic knowledge of anime. They will explore series outside the popularity base, but might not necessarily follow any news of anime.

The “Explorer”: I generally fall into this category. People who will go outside that of US releases and have a pretty good knowledge on terms and ideas. Examples such as tsundere, moe, and zettai ryouiki. These people will also follow minor news happening within the anime world. These people will also probably have a high quantity of anime stored up or watched.

The “otaku”: Those who have a passion for anime. Its almost a life-style if you will. Not only do they watch a vast amount of series, but will go out of their way to follow any and all related news such as stuff on seiyuus, production company, author, etc. You could say they are really indulged in what they love.

Now I won’t say I’m perfect and reached the level of otaku-ism, but at the same time I’m probably seen as an otaku to many people in the states who are “casual” watchers. Most of the time I hear something like, “oh my god, I love anime! have you heard of this one called Inuyasha/Bleach/Naruto? zOMG I love those shows and [insert super yaoi character here] is awesome!”. Seriously if someone is like that…they are most likely not a casual watcher. I have no problem with that, but I dislike the fact that when I try to bring in terms such as moe, yaoi, yuri, etc. into a conversation and explain stuff to people, I get in return this blank and confused stare.

Back to my dilemma here at my own neighborhood Anime Club. Many say that I recommend bad series or run the club horribly just because I reject the common needs of Fanservice. Its either the world is stupid, I’m speaking in a different language, or people just have a one-set mind. I’ve explain various times that school policy might not allow it. Now I don’t TOTALLY reject the want of Fanservice, for I don’t mind it, but the fact that its school setting…I don’t want to get in trouble.

Which brings me to another point. Anime fans (from what I’ve seen) are seen as perverts to many people. I personally can understand that point, but at the same time some of the reasons given are usually false. Biggest discussed idea is that of being a lolicon. I will admit that I like loli characters, but thats due to the cuteness factor and just the lovable nature of them, but many who hear the words I, like, and loli in the same sentence will automatically call you a pervert and a pedophile. Another one is the idea that most Westerners (not all and not 100% true) is introduced to the world of anime through H-animes, Hentai, ADVs, 18+, eroge, etc. While again I have no problem with that, its a pretty bad assumption that everyone of us who loves anime is a pervert. Also the fact that a eroge is liked by someone does not mean they like it for the 18+ parts. For instance I loved Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya not because of the H that was in it, but the fact that the story was really well developed and each character was greatly developed and had their own background.

I guess this is just turning out into a giant ramble of how I hate society assuming people who like anime are weird and all, but one thing bugs me the most within the anime community. It is those seriously believe they know everything or those who watch anime, but do not have a passion that burns strong for it.

Everyday I deal with at least one who has seen anime in one form or another and majority of the time they try to act as if they knew everything or try to act as if they were the biggest lover of anime out there. Here’s the best example…just go on someone who likes anime that is on Myspace or Youtube. They will most likely be plastered with random anime pictures and will have an anime picture from something they don’t even know. And when you ask about it or tell them about it the most common answer will probably go something like, “Oh I got this picture because it was cute and blah blah blah.” Most of the time they are fangirls. Yes I seriously think Fangirls ruin just about everything, but thats not the point. The point is most in the community that I’ve dealt with lacks passion. I myself am not as passionate as those in other areas, but I do try my best to follow what I can. I love watch anime as a form of entertainment and also believe that each series gets equal treatment of possibility of being watched. From the states…I get a really different vibe. I have some who are really into anime and are almost up to that of an otaku, which I’m really greatful for, but what annoys me the most is those who pretend to know every, who “pretends” to love anime, and who pretends to even try to understand whats going on.

Overall though I must admit that we’re all imperfect and all, but at the same time those who truly love anime should at least get out of what is popular in the states and go out and watch more series, learn a thing or two about the seiyuus and just enjoy larger spectrum of anime and Japanese culture outside of your little homes.

~Kevin~

P.S. I’m extremely sorry for the long post and offending those who find this offensive. If I have gotten anything wrong please feel free to correct my mistakes.

Gekijouban: Shakugan no Shana

Posted by darkdragon500 on October 4, 2007

I FINALLY WATCHED IT!!! After waiting for a year I finally saw the Shakugan no Shana movie. I’m extremely happy that I did and I can’t begin to say how amazing it was.

——-SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!———

Okay so here is what it is. The movie is a remake of the first arc with some changes. Changes I’ve noticed….
-Hirai interaction with Youshida
-Majery and Shana team up on Fraigne
-Dolls….
-Alastor released and kills Fraigne
-Shana asks to use Youshida to repair the classroom instead of Ike

Thats most of it at least. The movie started out pretty fast and will hit you like a brick wall if you have never seen the Shana series, but at the same time it gives you enough information for those who have yet to see the series to understand it. Some scenes will be confusing, but others will make a lot more sense than what was shown in the series.

The movie start off with a Flame Haze (who doesn’t have a voice-actor by the way) attacking Fraigne…only to then get shot by the Hougu Trigger Happy…which pretty much breaks the container/person and they explode.

After that we jump right into where the series starts off. We see more of Hirai kind of and then we get Shana….yada yada yada. Its pretty much the same as the series after that.

Later on when Majery comes into town Yuji notices that the torches are pulsing like heart beats…this then brings us to Majery using an Unrestricted Spell that takes down torches and Shana and Yuji go to Majery where then Yuji is like “YOU CAN’T KILL TORCHES LIKE THAT!!!” Then he gets bitch slapped by Majery….Then Friagne comes and a party starts up wooh!!!

Fraigne fights Shana and Majery…takes Yuji hostage and tells them to meet him at night. Shana turns emo for a bit while Majery drinks like usual and then they go fight. The fight is changed a lot and is not really easy to describe since its so awesome….But in the end Shana gets shot by Trigger Happy which she then releases Alastor and everything goes up in flames.

THEN!!! we have a love-love scene with Shana and Yuji….This is where I don’t know if I should love Shana more or not. I mean….They slightly made her out of character….She seemed more….into Yuji than that of her in the anime. Since she was nude she would usually go crazy on Yuji, but in this…she was like….happy….and seemed like she just got laid….like….the typical romance laid after-effect kind of thing….I don’t know….I probably died either way from moe.

SO! Yeah with that the movie ends….Wooh….It was a great refresher for the upcoming second season. NOW I SHALL BE OFF!!!

In need of an “Unlimited Hard-Drive Works” right now. (RAMBLE TIME!)

Posted by darkdragon500 on September 8, 2007

Alright…Starting…NEXT weekend I will HOPEFULLY get back into the trend of downloading and watching anime. With the school year already started I can already feel my life being drained away by school and I just started Thursday. I’ll be taking “leadership” of my school’s Japanese Animation and Film club (otherwise known as Anime Club) even though I’m not much of a vivid follower of Japanese media, but the irony of it all is I’m the only (if not one of the very few) Asians in the club…don’t know where the irony is.

I’m currently just redownloading Code Geass (even though I just needed the last few picture books and the last episode special) along with Death Note (Live Action): The Last Name and the anime series. I watched up till around episode 12 back when it was still running, but my procrastination (and lack of free hard-drive space) got to me and I never ended up following through the series. I’m planning to now, so I hope that goes well…

I still have a numerous amount of series to finish. Series that are on my hard drive that I started, but never really got into (more like I just got lazy or couldn’t bring myself to watch) are…
Elfen Lied
Steel Angel Kurumi (all of them)
Girls Bravo 1 and 2
Excel Saga
Pumi Pumi Poemy
THIS ALONE is enough to keep me busy for a week or so. This does not include the numerous of CDs I have of backed-up series that I have not watched (this of course might not be true since my collection was slightly destroyed due to a mishap that happened…)

My current plan is to start catching up with the series running and what I mean by that is actually download them onto my PC instead of watching them via Crunchyroll. I’m also planning to buy more manga in the coming few months just so I have something to read…of course that isn’t much to say since I can easily finish the manga within an hour-ish fastest…assuming I don’t look at all the pretty pictures for more than a minute

I’ll also be keeping myself busy with various games. I’ll be playing the upcoming Bleach: Blade Battlers game which is the 2nd installment that is released for the PS2. I’ll also play Arcana Heart, which is a 2-D fighter thats suppose to be filled with moe. I’ll also be playing Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimatte Accel 2. The game will include Time-Skip Sasuke apparently and will be released in December 2007 according to various places. Looking forward to Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core also for the PSP.

With so many games to play (along with old games still needing to be finished) and various upcoming series (along with many that needs to be finished) I will probably not do so well in school. Although I will probably try SLIGHTLY harder than last year to keep my grades from dying, I can’t guarantee great scores…and even more can’t guarantee I’ll do so well in getting goals accomplished…like…finishing and catching up with my anime and games. Oh well we’ll see what happens…

Another Century’s Episode 3: THE FINAL (first 20 stage review)

Posted by darkdragon500 on September 8, 2007

Okay I just got the game yesterday and I’m already addicted to it. Just like the previous games, A.C.E. offers series cross-over with its own unique storyline (much like Super Robot Wars). The game has scale size units, so all units are as big as they should be, and a very simple button configuration for anyone to just pick up the game and within 2-3 minutes will have it down (although longer for some depending on your understanding).

In A.C.E. 3: The Final they offer the same/similar engine to that of A.C.E 2, but you can always switch to the original style of gameplay. Unit’s special abilities are done via L3 and R3 being pressed. What I mean by that is for example: If your using Freedom with METEOR unit attachment you can revert to just Freedom gundam by pressing L3 and R3, but you can call back the METEOR unit with the same buttons. I have yet to try it on other units, but I’ll get to it.

The game does not REALLY require any knowledge of the Japanese language. It would really help to understand whats going on and all, but its pretty easy to get what your objective is (so far) and picking it up isn’t hard. Upgrading may cause troubles for some just on the pure fact that you don’t know what upgrade is what (so I just upgrade everything…) I’d recommend that people who want to enjoy it fully know whats going on, but if your like me you can enjoy it just as much without understanding a single thing thats going on.

In the third and final installment we have a list of 18 series. Ranging from original Gundam (RX-7 8) to Gundam X or Turn A Gundam or Freedom Gundam, but with those we also have some Super-Types now such as Shin Getter and even stuff from Overman King Gainer. Its probably the only A.C.E. game to ever had Super-type.

Explanation on Super and Real type.

Super: They are usually units that use less conventional weapons and usually have strong armor. Examples would be MazinKaizer, Getter Robo, or GaoGaiGar (someone help confirm that).

Real: They are usually units that use more conventional weapons, but armor isn’t strong. Units such as Gundams.

There are exceptions which would be categorized in Hybrid. Units such as the Eva series and possibly Dolems from RahXephon

With that said we see a very unfitting units in the A.C.E. series. For example…Shin Getter compared to any other unit that you have in your arsenal is huge…Even with Freedom or Justice with METEOR unit, Shin Getter still looks like it can crush them with a Getter Shine.

The game itself is pretty fun. Being the last game in the series it is worth getting for those who want a “mech-piloting” game or who loved the previous A.C.E. games. The game may be slightly confusing if you don’t have any prior knowledge of the series or its units, but its still fun regardless. The graphics aren’t bad and the system is pretty tight from what I’ve seen.

Lucky Star = Haruhi = Live-Action adult film!

Posted by darkdragon500 on September 4, 2007

Okay so according to Kotaku Lucky Star (like Haruhi) will get a live-action adult film…This is horrible….I don’t know what to say….it will probably be under-produced due to the budget of being a penny and it will probably be a lol-fest.
