Zero no Tsukaima

I have recently finished the first season of Zero no Tsukaima (talking as if second season was out already) and I must say I really enjoyed it regardless of the lack of episodes and smooth transitions.

Plot: The plot follows Louise (whatever her whole name is…) who goes to a magic school (Think Harry Potter…). She is in her second year and all second year students must summon a familiar (Tsukaima). Louise somehow manages to summon a ‘commoner’ to become her familiar. His name is Saito. He comes from Earth (because Louise and people are on some weird area….) and he was just minding his own business until he found himself summoned as a familiar. The story goes that Saito…being a commoner and all he is a Grandlfe (sp?) who is able to wield any weapon as if he has mastered the skill of using it. He of course is a legendary familiar….Then you follow the adventures that involves some relationship development between Louise and Saito and the crazy things that happen along the way.

Okay this anime wasn’t bad, but was REALLY short and lacked a smooth transition. Louise has the same seiyuu as Shana from Shakugan no Shana…so you could only guess. Instead of Shana’s ‘urusai’ Louise says ‘baka’. Basically you see her chaining baka as if it was Suiseiseki’s ‘desu’. I personally liked the fact that it even had a story to begin with and there was some mystery and the whole thing on how the people in the ‘magical’ world did not know anything about Earth or anything like that. It was funny because conventional weapons from Earth could take down dragons and golems and all. It was awesome.

I can’t wait till the second season and hope the story actually develops instead of it being Saito X Louise for 1 minute then fanservice the next… Mild fanservice was shown.

Overall I’d say a 7-8 out of 10 *shrugs*

GetBackers = Brokeback Mountain + Religion and super powers…

Okay I just finish watching the whole series of GetBackers and from what I saw I can sum up my feelings into this…: What the fuck did I just watch…Where was the plot? What?. So yes the anime left me with a bunch of plot-holes…More than Evangelion did. At least Evangelion made somewhat sense in the end….

So GetBackers follows two retrieval agents. Midou Ban and Ginji (I don’t know his last name…). Their job is to be the gayest couple in a series yet (jk). Their job is to retrieve stuff thats been taken away and their success rate is 100%. There is nothing that they can’t get back. With that said we move on the the Infinite Castle (Yes its not the impenetrable fortress…why else did the story involve them going INTO the so called impenetrable fortress…its not even a fortress -.-). As I was saying we move on to the Infinite Castle where most of the plot takes place. After that we leave for a bit to have some rest then back again where the story then ends leaving you confused on most of what happened.

You learn some history of Juubei, Kazuki, Toshiki, Makubex, Ginji, Ban, Himiko, Shido, Fuudo, Temeshiki(sp?), Hevn, Emishi, and pretty much most of the cast BUT! we never learned this…What is the last children thing about….What happens in the end…we end off having Ban punch Kagami and then they leave. I was really confused. The whole anime all together wasn’t bad, but it lacked story…I demand that the GetBackers retrieve the missing plot! …. The only reason why I kept watching was because of Natsumi-chan and Sakura-san. They kept the anime in my opinion even though they were minor characters.

All in all there isn’t much to explain when it comes to story…just a whole lot of yaoi situations and DBZ-like fighting…

Loli-battle comes to an end. Everything is lost.

Some may know or not know lolitron.org had a loli battle to decide who would be victorious and queen of the loli. It was a rigorous for some and a breeze for others *cough* Loli-in-a-bag *cough*, but in the end it was a somewhat fair fight with very good, and some not so good, match ups.

Now with the battle over and the dust clearing over the battle field you can see Shana standing victorious after a tough fight with Fate. Although she stands it wasn’t an easy battle. Shana has definitely won my heart in favorite loli along with many more, but the people have spoken and they demand Shana over Fate. Fate comes in second by only 100- votes. Kyon no Imouto is third with Takamachi Nanoha in 4th (this is based on the amount of votes each got during their respected semi-final battle).

Well nothing really special going on nor do I think people care. I’ll probably do that update on Bleach, Shippuuden and Code Geass sometime when I’m not busy this month (which is going to be never…) and yeah…

Danbooru recover coverage.

With Danbooru dead, many otakus crying in the corner, and a few people with remains of Danbooru; few danbooru-like sites have popped up. As one major one (more like I saw it on Lolifox home) Sagubooru. Its still kind of unstable and really hard to access. [http://foone.org/tinyboofoo/index.py] still contains remains of Danbooru so you can check around there, although not amazing. A few danbooru-like H boards have started up also although still very new and not amazing and probably temporary. I won’t link those to keep this site a little SFW. You can check around to find them, which might be hard. I recommend people working with the remains at the tinyboofoo site or Sagubooru which is quite unstable and extremely laggy to access. If anything comes up I will keep people posted. If you find other scattered projects running similar to Danbooru feel free to share. By doing so you will save many otakus from death or going back to 4chan or something similar. (which could be fine for some and horrid for others)

Doujin fun for me and you.

Alright so since I have nothing better to talk about (still depressed at not being able to spend my time on Danbooru for a few hours doing absolutely nothing relevant to my survival…or so I think) I decided to go online to look for a few Doujin-soft. Recently I’ve been playing Porindama Online (A Puyo-puyo like game of Ragnarok Online. It’s an H-doujin-soft). It was made by the company [cosplay teahouse soft] <–which is a translation of コスプレ喫茶娘々 apparently (No I do not know Japanese and I get the Japanese from online sources *cough* HongFire *cough* and used copypasta). The game is quite fun for I have just played Puyo-Puyo Fever 2 for the PS2 recently with a few of my friends.

Its funny how I learned about Puyo-puyo through Genshiken (the ever so amazing anime about Otaku lifestyle…not meant to be taken seriously). So yeah. The company also did another Doujin-soft with Ragnarok, but this time its bomberman. 3D plains, but using sprite characters. That is also fun because your killing porings to then get H-scenes…I wish I actually knew what was going on because there seems to be some funny dialog … oh well. Also played the Nanoha doujin shmup (sp?) which doesn’t contain any H I think… (before I go further I must tell you that the bomberman and shmup being mentioned right now are only demo/trial versions and not the full version). The first version of the Nanoha game was EXTREMELY slow for its genre. The second version was a little better. Not to mention you could play as Fate-chan in the second version. Must put penis in Fate…

Anyways with that being said I am downloading a few doujin-soft which includes Tobi Tsukihime (a Tsukihime shmup) and it features Kohaku and Ren/Len. Yes a cat is fine too people ><! and so is Kohaku…although she’ll kill my family… OTL

Might go and play stepmania again for the 10th time today because I have no life like that for I am Asian. GOOD DAY SIR!

Danbooru Dead?

Alright so with any other day I like to check Danbooru for no apparent reason and see what I can find (like the cute chibi Karen on top of her chibi Guren Mk. II picture), but for some reason when I went on it around 3-ish it has stated that it is dead. Now…how true is this is unknown. It might be pulling a HongFire and U.S. is trying to take it down for having loli images there. Or it might full a 5chan and never be revived again. We may never know. I must say Danbooru was my outlet for pictures and wallpapers like HongFire and sometimes 4chan or any of the chan or ch boards when I have nothing better to do. Hopefully Danbooru isn’t dead and is just having some minor technique difficulties.

In other news I will update on all the stuff I was gonna update on sometime….when I have the time to create a good post.
